Pro3 Tune-Up Recalibration, Cleaning & Diagnostics Service

For Matterport Pro3 and Pro2 cameras, we offer a Tune-Up & Maintenance Service. Our camera maintenance services ensure that your camera is operating as accurately as possible.

Pro3 - Here's what we do for the Matterport Pro2 tune-up:

● Visually inspect your camera for any signs of potential damage

● Run a complete diagnostics evaluation on your camera using the software and tools provided to us by Matterport

● We professionally clean your camera with an emphasis on the LiDAR related mirrors and surfaces

● We recalibrate the LiDAR sensor to insure maximum accuracy

Pro3 Details: The cost of this service is $200 + shipping. Should your camera require any repairs, you will not be charged separately for the $200 and will instead be charged for the cost of the repair (because all of our repairs include the maintenance items).

Pro2 - Here's what we do for the Matterport Pro2 tune-up:

● Laser test the rotation accuracy of the camera

● Adjust the stepper motor for the above if needed

● Connect the camera to our auto-scan device and perform 200 sweeps to check for errors

● Inspect the capture app images for stitching problems

● Check the clutch nut for correct tightness

● Inspect the camera's internal structural parts for damaged or bent parts

● Check all of the internal connections in the camera for proper seating/connection

● Apply two upgrades that matterport recommends - add battery protection pads & add USB retention strips

● Clean out any dust and debris in the camera

● Replace internal fan(s), if needed (only do this if fans are not functioning or if they are making excessive noise)

● Test the wifi signal strength of the camera (and replace wifi antenna if it is damaged)

● Reassemble the camera making sure everything is fitted correctly

● Fully test the camera

Pro2 Details: The cost is $200 and includes all of the testing and one replacement part (antenna, fan). If more than one part is needed we will contact you for permission prior to doing any additional work over the $200. In most cases the cost is $200. Typically we complete repairs and send cameras back out to customers the day after we receive them.
